Footprints Recruiting posted an ad for female instructors in Saudi Arabia on Friday, Nov 4. The ad states they are working with a reputable staffing agency there. The start date and contract duration are stated as November 21, one year duration. A friend of mine received a contract through Footprints - the agency on the contract is Education Experts. I'm curious - can a prospective teacher get an iquama (proper work visa) for Saudi Arabia in just a few weeks? I've heard that for Canadians, the process can take 6 to 8 weeks. Thanks. |

Probably not. If you are not required to provide an extensive medical exam and lots of paperwork, you are not getting a proper work visa. That normally takes a lot of time.
