Most of the regulars here are veterans in their own right. There is a serious lot of expertise on this board. Newbies come along as well, of course, but it's not wise to assume that most everyone is a neophyte, or needs assistance.
(...Is this the moment to mention that I write content for Cambridge at times (grammar and functions?......) nor am I by any means the only poster around who's got official course/curriculum development gigs and other professional specialist roles in the field)
You're certainly welcome to join everyone, and your contributions will (in most cases, given that they're offered in a spirit of collegiality) be welcomed.
All of us, including the newbies, have something to offer here, and your input is as welcome as anyone else's.
We are picky sometimes - we teach the language, after all. And we all get caught in an inadvertent error or two from time to time (writing late at night, PUI violations, etc).
