Hey all! A few years ago I taught the university prep school scene in Turkey and have lots of information about doing that in Istanbul/Ankara. I'm thinking about going back to Turkey but am interested in teaching in less of an urban environment. Anyone know of universities outside of Istanbul/Ankara that are credible and pay decent? |

There are one or two that paY DECENT, you may have to qualify what you rthink that is, credibility, well again you need to clarify what you mean by that! |

Hmm, decent pay maybe $2000 plus airfare and housing. I know that can be difficult to find, especially outside of larger cities, so I know that has to be a bit more flexible. As far as credibility goes... I guess one that will pay may regularly and doesn't completely treat their employees terribly. |

An increasing number of state universities are looking for native speakers, I hear. A couple of months ago I heard ısparta were looking. It might be worth trying the prep schools in your preferred areas. As ever a personal visit, if at all possible, wouldn't go amiss. |
