Anyone have experience with this group? They have openings not too far from Bogot, my medium-term goal (my fiance was born and raised there) and the total compensation package is adequate but they list being Canadian as one of their qualifications. Assuming midwestern neutral accent, which is my "normal" speech anyway, even were I not trained as a actor in a variety of localizations, why should nationality matter for this? And accent will be demonstrated by the phone interview -- what am I not getting?
While we are on the subject, anyone with a personal "in" in that area (school / uni contacts, perhaps someone with a tutor practice looking to move on in the next year or so) they might be induced to share with me?
I'm told they are very dog friendly there, but is it common to have a no-pets rider on a medium term lease? If it matters, she is a fully healthy spayed and chipped Lab / Beagle mix weighing about 40 lbs and is very well trained and behaved. I don't anticipate any problems with my fiance living with me while the wedding arrangements are made, but am I being naive about that? No, not about the wedding itself, you clowns :-p |
