There seems to be a thriving expat community, a sailing club, church groups, and various sporting clubs. There are groups that go camping and exploring the country. There's a Carrefour, a large supermarket which stocks most western luxuries. If you shop local, in markets and small supermarkets the food can be fresh and well priced, but not particularly cheap. As throughout the whole ME, western food tends to be a tad more expensive. There's access to a variety of alcohol. Did you want to know anything specific?
