Hi,
I am planning to do the CELTA next summer and stay at my parents while doing it. They don't have Internet and it is a dongle black spot . Will this cause me major problems ?
Thanks. |

I didn't have internet access during my CELTA course and it didn't cause me any difficulties; if anything, it ensured I wasn't needlessly distracted.
My laptop, on the other hand, was invaluable for writing the essays and also preparing my own materials/handouts for the teaching sessions.
I'm sure the CELTA centre will have internet access if you do find that you need it although there could be several people trying to use a limited number of computers. You might wish to check this with the centre. |

It's not essential, although the net did come in handy for me, for writing some of my assignments.
Access to a computer, for typing assignments, is pretty much necessary. The college I did mine at had computer rooms for doing this.
Best of luck! |
