Hello All,
I have received an offer from IGEC for 10750SR a month - I have less than 2 years experience so to me this is an okay starting salary. The thing is I dont know a great deal about this company, and what im even more wary of is that I was not even interviewed for this position  (I sent my CV and Covering letter off and the next min i get an offer!)
Can anyone give me any information in regards to working under IGEC or having any affiliations with them?

The last time I got an offer w/o an interview in KSA (in 2003) the job really sucked. I resigned at the end of my probation period.

Not intending to make you feel bad, Nadan, but salaries in Saudi Arabia have really taken a dive. I've noticed the drop pretty much across the board based on the ads I've seen this year.
On my first job there in '96 my salary was SR12180, and I had only 1 year of teaching experience.

| Well if that's the case I guess my standards have dropped! I'm just beginning to make my way into the ESL world but if these saudi companies just upheld their end of the deal I would've been satisfied with the current salary they're offering me. |

| Worked for this company for one year. They were nothing but fair to me H----d and Dr. F----h were and are honorable men. Was offered a position by them recently but had to turn it down based on a current contract. Would work for them again in a minute. |

hi are you still working there? can you give me the scope on the company? they contacted me and I dont know if I should trust them...
I know what to expect from ksa...restrictions, lifestyle,etc... which is not my concern.
Im dying for this post however i dont know if I should trust IGEC. Can you share your experience? |
