Dear Sasha,

Whew - close call. For a minute, I was worried that I'd have to develop a British accent, spell those nouns ending with an -or as -our instead (which would have involved a lot of extra labour,) and started calling my hood, a bonnet, my trunk, a boot, and trucks, lorries.

Regards,
Yankee Doodle Dandy John

I mean, consider the current political, economic, and social situation....

and you thought a few thugs throwing some rocks in Tottenham was the beginning of the end of the world!
