So, what's been the effect on the job market?

Did most schools manage to retain their foreign staff or are they desperately seeking a dozen teachers to start yesterday?

Also, have they started classes or just reopened offices?

Give us a report on the kind of chaos that teachers are facing....

Our school in Bangkok lost 5 or so people in the elementary kindergarten section. We have a big school. In the Western part of Bangkok where I am at the main roads are all cleared up. I am pretty sure that they are needing more teachers than what they have in Bangkok. When the floods clear in Pathum Thani and Nonthaburi, which is going to be soon, they are really going to looking for teachers. This is generally a hiring time being between semesters and all, but with the flood they are going to be hiring a lot more to replace the ones that fled permanently.
