Does anyone have an experience with this school? They are in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, I have found very little information about them on-line so I figured some one here may have an experience or two to share.

I have just sent my CV off to the head mistress and am hoping to receive a reply in the next few days, they seem like a highly functioning and professional school from the information they provide. Though I don't think much of their website Razz

I don't know them but finding 'little' information might be a good thing. You're more likely to find bad things more easily if they are a crap employer. If it's general terms and conditions you need to know about then try to find out about similar employers and what they offer. If they have an operation in HK, then it's possible that they operate at a higher that average standard.

Ask if you can email preferably past employees or in the least current ones.

Thanks, I'll take it as a plus then unless anyone can offer another opinion. They even ask for university transcripts, which I don't have with me - never thought I'd need them =/ Do many places ask for transcripts? I've not heard of any until now

Hi! I'm considering taking up the position at Deborah Kindergarten. Like the earlier posts, there's not much info about them on the internet. Any updates would be very useful.

I don't know any more than what I've seen here on Dave's. They seem to pay pretty well, but they are ALWAYS advertising for people.

I think it doesn't bode well for a decent-paying school when they have ads nearly every week for new employees. China is a big place and it is often quite hard to find any information on the net. I wouldn't say that means they are necessarily good.

I have also noticed that Deborah's are ALWAYS advertising. Friends of friends have worked there before (Shenzhen), I've not heard anything awful but nothing great either.

If you want to work in Shenzhen try Victoria Kindergarten (also a Hong Kong school). Similar position/ hours as Deborahs but pays better.

Yeah! I just read one of their ads posted yesterday. Seems like they are still looking!

Regular advertising may also imply they try to keep on top of their recruitment needs rather than loose staff and then panic trying to bring new ones in and creating a huge overtime burden on other staff, which I see all too often in China.
