| "Parts" of the national curriculum probably means two-thirds of the school day will be, by decree or popular mandate, devoted to Islamic studies. It certainly is in the KSA, but I won't pretend to be an expert on UAE K-12 life. The latter is to me about as interesting as a plate of camel kidney. |

While they take Arabic language and a religion course or courses... it isn't 2/3rds of the day.

| Plus history. Maybe 1/4 to 1/3 of the day devoted to some form of Islamic studies. But that could work if they were taught with any rigour. |

Well, I guess if KFC can operate their own farms to raise the chickens they produce, DWC has the same option! 
Let's see, there are 17 campuses, will there be 17 "super high schools"?
It's like a slap to the face to the ENTIRE Ministry of Education! |

| HCT have been teaching a form of glorified 'high school' for a long time now...it will just be the same thing with younger students...it might actually work in the long run....and could be an example of 'how to' for the public high schools... |
