Hi, is it at all possible to get summer work in China for under three months? I only have two - three months available over summer but I would like to go teach English in China. I have a TEFL certificate and have plenty of experience in working abroad and a a little experience in teaching.

I am aware that such a short contract would not be the most lucrative, but I am mainly there for the experience. I would just want free accomodation and a small salary.

From mid-July to the end of August schools are out for summer break so private mills run intensive summer programs. Usually 6 weeks or so of kids five days a week that will pay enough for flight plus a little, can be chaotic but gets you over here for a taste.

Check dates carefully as most run right up to the day fall term starts.

Nothing much. Some of us take a ten week holiday with pay.

And you may just be approached from outside to help out at a private summer school.
