| I think it's a great site with free professional development courses taught by respected educators (I've worked with Dr. Susan Finn Miller, and she is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the field; Dr Bigelow is also highly respected). It's not a substitute for getting a degree, but I think a great way to learn more about specific topics. I took the SLA course, and it was a great basic introduction to SLA principles. |
