I have been trying to acquaint myself with the relatives pluses and minuses concerning legal Vs. illegal employment as an English teacher in KSA.
Once you are under contract - working lawfully - is it possible to jump ship to a better gig after some months have passed? |

It depends on where you work, the cycle of the moon, the whistle of the sands and wasta. |

if your employer has brought you in on an employment visa (and has spent a considerable amount of money doing so), s/he would want to see some of that money back from your next employer, transfer of iqama it is called. since transfers have been put on hold by the government your chances of jumping ship and embark on another are zero. |
