Is there any market for private lessons in Jeddah or near by? It would be nice to fill up extra time and thought this may be a good way.

Yes of course there is a market in Jeddah... if not in Jeddah, where would it be, in Sakaka or Ar'ar? Laughing

Market is huge and extensive. Any subject you want to teach to any level, students are there. From primary school level all the way to specialized Master's degree courses.

Trick is getting your foot in... but once you do, and assuming you are liked, your phone will never stop ringing.

I only have experience with the upper-middle class section of the market, and the typical pay is SR. 150 to SR. 250 per hour for one-to-one. If teaching small groups of 2 to 4 students, the pay will be about SR. 300 to SR. 400 per hour, total.

A word-of-mouth marketing is your way in. Once it is rolled on, it flows endlessly.
