Your next president of the United States is vying for a spot on the ticket and it's been quite a ride in the polls.
Perry looked like a top contender but has dropped off some due to debate performances.

So who'll win and take down the Obama? |

As a usual donkey supporter, I am offended at that remark
I do have to admit that my fellow Dems here in the Golden State have managed to turn all that glitters into a rather brown smelly substance that has piled up so high neither party can reduce it.
Cain and Romney both look good. I think the best of the group would be Jon
Huntsman but he doesn't have a chance to be nominated. |

given obama's performance, even a stale bag of potato chips could
be a winner.
it seems no matter how hard they try, the gop cannot lose in 2012.
and they do seem to be trying hard.
we've got candidates claiming their foreign policy comes straight
from the bible. another who wants to outsource middle east policy
to israel. most want to begin bombing runs on tehran immediately.
and those are the less creepy candidates.
i'd go for bachmann-palin. that's the ticket! |

If that'll work, I will cross my fingers for the Bachman/Palin team. Although put together I'm not sure they've got the IQ of the schnauzer... and they certainly have less foreign travel/policy/culture experience than he's got.
Maybe I'll see if the schnauz wants to run on the GOP ticket. He's pretty conservative overall....definitely a member of the 1%!!
The more I think of it, the better I think he'd be. He's got a nice sharp bark, never changes position on any issue (he's a terrier, after all), and takes no &%#@ from anyone. However, nationality is against him - he's the Canadian in our family.... |

Dear spiral78,
No problem - just fake a birth certificate. It worked for Obama, after all.

Well, we'll get cracking on the documents, then, and I'll start coaching the schnauz in domestic policy - his international policies are already pretty well developed (unlike the current field of candidates!!).
He's clearly got right-wing appeal, as my very elderly and very conservative parents like him a lot. He's sure to get at least two votes, I guess! |

Will he still have such Right-Wing appeal when it comes out that he received training in Czechoslovakia...? From ideologically committed Bulgarian operatives adept in the arcane arts of umbrellaing at that... |

Just the fact that he's lived in Europe will lead people to suspect that he's secretly a socialist, no matter what he says in debates. (And just what does a right-wing bark sound like, anyway?) |

European Socialism - the next great step forward, yet again leading civilization onwards and upwards to eternal glory. What's not to like? |
