Anybody know anything about this place?

I visited the campus once. It is out in the middle of NOWHERE. There is a small strip of tiny chinese restaurants outside the campus gate catering to the students, and a very small town nearby. A good place to study Chinese, methinks, as you won't have many other distractions.

Thanks for the reply. Dullsville I can handle, usually means the COL is low.

Yes, its certainly a cheap place to live. My ex-gf was a graduate from this school and always complained about having to pay more than 1 rmb for bus fare or a bottle of mineral water in Guangzhou. Laughing

The people seemed very pleasant there as well. However, you will have to deal with the extreme weather. It is very HOT there in the summer, and COLD in the winter.
