Hello all,
anyone had experience with them? They're advertising for immediate starts which makes me a little nervous that staff have done a runner.
Many info greatly appreciated!

Well, demand for English picks up in January as people make their New Year's resolution to learn the language. Supposedly most of the January joiners at gyms have stopped going by March, so I wonder what it's like for language students.
Runners are pretty common in English teaching in Spain. I doubt there'd be an established English teaching academy out there that has never had a staff member leave with no notice.
I got up at 7:30 today to go to work and finished my day at 9. I earn below the national average wage. I'm already calculating what sort of a summer I'll be able to enjoy based on what I'm likely to save in the next 6-7 months. On shitty days (usually Mondays) on the Metro I daydream about finding a real job outside English teaching. That's pretty typical for an English teacher, although I avoid working for academies like the plague myself. Is it any wonder people drop this shit like it's hot though? |
