Hello. I currently reside in the United States, where I am attending a university. I am double majoring in Global Studies and Criminology. Unrelated, I know. Would minoring or taking a few extra classes in English or linguistics help?
I do not have any teaching experience, except tutoring English to a few kids during the summer. I just want to know how feasible it is to go to Europe (possibly Prague), get a CELTA, and find a job right away? Of course during the times schools usually hire. By the way, I am an EU citizen. From reading a lot of posts on this forum, it seems like a good certificate, teaching demos, and being an EU citizen are all that really matters.
Thanks in advance! |

Does your university have a TESOL program through the English Dept.? If so, you can probably get certified before graduating. |

Unfortunately it does not unless you are a graduate student. |
