|
|
I'm touring Malaysia/Thailand/Singapore for 2 weeks. I've heard of both airlines and/or immigration requesting proof of plans to exit the country (like a plane ticket) to be let into the country/get your tourist visa in Malaysia/Thailand. I plan to fly into Bangkok and then ride trains down through Malaysia/Singpore, flying back to Korea (where I live) from there. Can I show my Singapore-Korea ticket to the border/visa issuing people in Malaysia and Thailand and explain my plans for train rides as sufficient evidence for plans to exit the country? What have others done for land travel plans like this? |

I've been in and out of Malaysia and Singapore many times and it's never been questioned. You shouldn't have any problems. |
