| I've noticed a few schools and online programs offer a TEYL certificate course as well, either to add to the diploma program or take alone for extra education. Is it worth taking a TEYL course as well? |

Is it your intention to work with young learners?
If so, the TEYL is a brief taste of what is to come (and an eye opener).
A certificate course in ECE might be more appropriate depending on whether you are talking elementary or Kindy aged kids.
