Making your own website and plan to teach on-line?

P.P.P.P., S.W.O.T.

Seriously, it really does depend on your market, placement within that market, types of tutoring, promotion and marketing message that you want to convey.

You also have to consider (as a business) your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities that are presented and threats to your perceived business model.

If that makes no sense to you then it won't matter what you put up there (prices or not).

if you plan to provide a product based on price - as in your selling point is price - then provide the cost

if you plan to provide quality and standards then the price is less important. simples.

No not online. That was what I thought I clarified in the 2nd post. The site is supposed to be for networking purposes.

Good points.

Thanks ancient.

Put yourself in your client's position. What would you want to see? If you are going to post a description of courses you tutor for private students, I would imagine you'd get more bites if there was a price on the page.

I often pass by something I'm interested if there's no price or estimated price listed. There's a built-in assumption in me that price might be relative to the vulnerability level of the buyer.

So true.

I myself seen interesting products that I never bothered to inquire about when I saw no price.

I checked out some professional tutoring business websites and never saw any mention of price.

The difference was for them it was a national thing and for me...it's just me.
