I am in an accelerated bachelors degree program. I'll graduate with a BA, but it will be in 2 - 3 years instead of 4. I'm interested in teaching in places like Thailand where I legally need the bachelors degree. Does it need to be a bachelors degree, or specifically a 4-year bachelors degree?
Thanks. Hope this hasn't been asked - when I use the search function I get a blank page. |

As long as the university you attend is above board and is legally able to grant degrees then you shouldn't have any problems. I'm sure others can give you specific details in relation to Thailand. In England, Wales and N. Ireland 3 year degrees are common. |

Properly accredited university and the parchment says Bachelor of _______ then you will be fine.

Agree with tttompatz. If it says "bachelor of..." on the parchment, it's an acceptable degree (providing it's not a fake one, but that's another topic).
I've looked at a lot of resumes from people who want them polished, and one thing that stands out is the number that show the start and finish dates for their degrees. Why is the start date even needed?! Employers don't care. Just list the date you got the degree and be happy you can show that. Problem solved. |
