I got an email several months ago stating that my interview was successful. The HR person wrote that they would get back to me in February about the position. Apparently they need to wait for budget approval according to the email. I am still waiting.

Is anybody else out there in a similar position? Have you heard anything?

ZU is preferable to ADEC in both pay, benefits, and level of students and support.

If they said that they would get back to you in February, then don't be surprised if you are still waiting until February 28th.

The opening is still on the website... and they are interviewing at TESOL in the US in March, so unless your CV is outstanding, you are into a very competitive situation.

I wouldn't stop searching and interviewing just in case they get back to you saying that the position is no longer available.

I emailed them to ask about how things were going. They replied to confirm that have a place for me. They just needed me to update some information on their recruiting website.

So it looks like I have the job which is nice. They are doing a "salary assessment" and will get back to me very soon. It will be interesting to see what they come up with.

What is ADEC? I am not sure what you are responding to.

Someone else mentioned ADEC above. It is in the schools so you are likely not interested.
