I have the added complication of wanting to keep my small dog with me. Anyone know the likelihood of a job offering you housing that allows you to have a small dog? Will the compound typically permit this??

| I have read that there is something in the quran about not having a dog in your house. I suspect that you will need to either rent a house, or live in a compound. Cats are the favored pets here, and you will see them everywhere at night. Dogs are largely absent. |
