I was wondering if anyone here has visited Star City in Riyadh? The theme park that is meant for children and women only. I know this is a mostly male forum.. so I guess this is directed at the lads as well who have wives/partners and children who may have visited it. What's it like compared to the theme parks in the west? Is there a lot to keep kids entertained?
Also, does anyone know if play-groups exist out there where mums can go with their children, and whereabouts in Riyadh these may be?
I genuinely have no idea what to expect, so I have no expectations and thought I'd better ask instead!
Thanks! |

Danke, Danke.
I did see quite a bit of info, but nothing like hearing it from someone's mouth (or fingers! lol)! x |

Star City is too delapidated to bother with, and some girls apparently died on a ride recently. only 2 or 3 large rides work anyway.
Try Hokair land, which is on its way down as well. Altho it's quite expensive, it is large, which also might make up for the lack of exciting rides.
as usual, profits are creamed off without bothering about maintenance or safety.
There must be other "fun" places in Riyadh?? if so, do tell! |
