How long after you submit your contract and visa info, does Nova generally take to contact you with your location?

Hi there,
My name is Cassandra and I am from British Columbia, Canada. I recently was hired by Nova as well. I was sent confirmation of my departure date which is June 16th of this year. They didn't give me any info as to where I was going to be placed in the e-mail. However, I did call to inquire and even though they don't tell you until a month before you depart, I was able to get an idea of where they thought I was going to be placed. So, when in doubt just call the Toronto branch or the branch closest to you. Hope this helps. If you have anymore questions or would like a friend to contact in Japan I will be stationed in Tokyo Very Happy .

Best regards,
Cassandra

Cool, thanks. My friend was told he'd be headed to Kansai airport (I will be too) - but then 2 weeks before his departure date, they told him he's working in Nagoya. I was confused bec I thought Nagoya was closer to Narita airport. (Good luck out there, btw)

Narita Int'l airport is an hour east of Tokyo

Nagoya is an hour north of Osaka on the bullet train and has its own international airport. Nagoya is 2 hours away from Tokyo so Osaka is closer for domestic transfers.
