Has anyone ever had any problems with repetitors? I've only heard good things about them, but recently I gave it a try. A couple of students who turned out to live in the same street as me were assigned to a teacher who lived miles away, despite my pointing this out. The students managed to contact me later, after the original teacher ducked out because of the travel time.

It seems strange that the administrators don't appear to read the teacher profiles, but just try to assign you any student regardless of location or time availability.

So, am I just unlucky or is this fairly normal?
