The words "bargepole" and "wouldn't touch it" spring to mind, given the compulsory training to prepare you to brainwash young minds: "If they haven't already done so, teachers are required to complete the Philosophy of Christian Education Course requirements during their first two years of service. " |

Before you start the whole process of applying, you should probably be aware that they do not pay full salaries. They generally recruit retired volunteers or missionaries that have some funding from American churches. I think they only pay 7-8 million rupiah per month, and yes, they are very religious. Of course in terms of the natural setting, Salatiga, alongside Malang, is about as good as it gets on the island of Java. |
