What is the going rate for a tourist visa if you get it in hong Kong now? Haven't been there in awhile. And how long is it good for? What is the charge for same day rush?

Depends on where you are from, and it is the same price as any Chinese consulate for your nationality.

Duration is really dependent on the people working the day you apply.
