One old timer once told me never to take a job teaching the military.

I taught Air Force students on two different contracts. In both cases the students were pretty good.

Why?: because they were doing the dreaded DLI course and if they passed they went on to follow on studies in the USA. This meant that a week after arrival, they would be driving a new Camaro with a blond on each arm and a can of beer in their hand. Great motivator.

The Saudi officers in charge of the program were long time veterans of stateside training and ran the place with pretty severe discipline.

What kind of three-armed, in-bred freaks were they sending to the US?!? Shocked

It's a mental picture that makes me shudder!

That's the benefit of marrying first cousins for a hundred generations.

But actually, you can have an arm around each girl and have a beer in the hand. Try it. I have, so I know it can be done.

So, I take it that the steering wheel was in the centre of the dashboard and you were steering with your feet? Laughing

Sounds like Saudi driving techniques to me!

It's the only way I can think of!

This is why the real Saudi military is the US military.
