Could anyone tell me whether or not the BA in English requirement is being widely upheld in Indonesia. From the adverts only WSI seem to be requiring it. EF, British Institute, and KELT are not asking for it.
I'm considering working there, but worried that this requirement would make it harder to change employer if most schools are requiring the English BA. |

It seems to be applied randomly at best. I worked for two years with no problems but now that I'm trying to find a new job, I've had some schools flat out turn me down because of the degree requirement. Your best bet is to just apply and see what they sayespecially if it isn't specified in the advert. For what it's worth, I've got two interviews coming up and both know I haven't got a degree complying with the new "law". |
