				| My definition of a good compound is one that is:
 clean
 modern
 has a pool
 has a gym room
 restaurant (maybe)
nice, modern 1 or 2 bedroom apartments fully furnished w/AC
 and are safe

 etc.....etc....

				| etc etc =
available in less than 6 months
 well maintained
 has great social life
 affordable

yes there is a compound like that on every street corner
 they are desperate for tenants
they are offering cash rewards to people who are willing to move in

				| The Eurovillage compound is excellent. Very good villas, an excellent restaurant. Good sport facilities. Also there is a very good school attached - the IPS school - which is relatively new, but fast gaining a reputation as one of the best schools in the Dammam/Dhahran/Al Khobar area.
Lovely pool for lap swimming, and friendly staff, mostly from the Philippines. Many expats visit Eurovillage for their restaurant, which is a good reflection on the quality of the food offered. Full buffet cost is 40 - 50 riyals. 'A la carte meals' around 20 riyals.

Prices are competitive and offer excellent value for money. The residents and families you come across in the restaurant seem to be very happy.
