There are a few people discussing the place if you google.
One is a wordpress blog, which I appreciate you might not be able to open without a VPN, but nothing negative is being said. In fact, none seem particularly negative.
One thing to note though is that it is probably not in Suzhou but in Kunshan, which is a separate city and it appears to me they probably put Suzhou just to get more applicants. No matter. I have been to Kunshan, it is a nice city, prosperous, perhaps not as visually pleasing as parts of Suzhou (but unless you're in the old town much of Suzhou looks like any modern Chinese city anyway) and is actually closer to Shanghai than Suzhou is. The Gao Tie (ultra high speed) trains on the Shanghai-Suzhou-Nanjing-Beijing line run through there and quite a few actually stop as well. |
