Hey everyone, I was wondering was opportunities for English teaching positions are there for Shenzhen, I haven't seen many listed. I'm looking into Shenzhen because my girlfriend lives in Hong Kong currently and I would like a job close to here so we could visit each other on the weekends or something, I'm also looking into Hong Kong also if you have any information.

Do any of you work in Shenzhen, how much to you make, how's the cost of housing?

I've seen a few jobs for Shenzhen on this site, I've never worked there myself

I read about a website, shenzhenparty.com, does anyone know if it is reliable? The name makes me think it's not good, but I don't know, what is the consensus?

I know of 2 good jobs in Guangdong. They are not in Shenzhen, but they're not far. I have friends and former students in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, and I travel there a lot for the weekends. I teach in Dongguan.

PM me if you don't find something in Shenzhen, or if you're interested and still looking for a job. I work for a reputable International school and have been very happy with the school.
