Could anyone tell me how much netbooks are in Saudi? The small ones which typically weigh around 1kg and have 1 Ghz chips. Also is it easy to get them with Windows in English?

| Be careful many of them are so so slow when trying to use an internet connection in Saudi. Check you connection speed before buying. |

Why so slow?
I have a tablet but I think I will need to buy myself a laptop out there for study purposes. |

This is a good place to go as you get a warranty: http://www.jarirbookstore.com/
Plenty of backstreet shops which sell even cheaper but will put on dodgy (ie. pirated) Microsoft system, etc.
No VAT in Saudi. |

Because the 1gb of ram, Intel Atom N455 1.66GHz and many of them have windows 7 starter software. Read some of the reviews on Amazon |

Is it easy enough to get laptops with English windows?
Also how much does it cost(roughly) to get the internet in your apartment? I have read that internet is expensive and slow in Saudi.

Personally I would buy in the US and take it with me... as you will know what you are getting and likely for cheaper.
