Hi there,

can anyone give any information about GOES Shanghai? I am currently working part time teaching at a Shanghai high school and finding looking for more work to fill my week a bit of a hassle, while trying to resist an offer to teach at a middle school where I have worked once (shudder). Hadn't really thought about adults but had an interview with these guys that seemed to go well, and the idea of teaching small groups of adults rather than teenagers that don't want to learn suddenly made sense.

Firstly, does anyone have any experience with them? I would be especially interested if anyone has anything positive / impartial to say!

Also, I think I made a bit of a mistake in my calculations in the interview, because when they asked my expected wage I had written down 150RMB (my current wage) and then guy said "so your probably expecting about 200 to 250 an hou....oh wait! 150, hmmm, yes I think we can do that!". Still not sure how their daily schedule works but if paid by the hour and have a 12-9 day 5 days a week, that seems pretty good, though I'm sure someone out there can put me right.
