It has been a while since I've last posted.
I applied for a job at Hailiang International School and was turned down because I'm of "Asian/Polynesian" decent. Disappointing. Although I do come from Hawaii I do not have an ounce of Hawaiian blood in me. I am, however, of Chinese/Filipino decent as most people from Hawaii are. I just wish that all Chinese employers would be "equal opportunity employers".  |
