I have gone for the last 2 years and certainly will go again this year. It's a lot of fun. I'd suggest bringing your own food though. I do not bother with the foreign brands of beer, there are some varieties of Tsingtao beer available there which are not readily available at any other time. One is unpasteurized Well, I think so anyway, I know very little about beer except that it goes into my mouth and has the potential to go out the same way it went in. I do not recommend it highly, it seems to have more contaminants and can give you a pretty rocking ass hangover.
If you go with Chinese friends and do vomit, man up and keep drinking.
I wish I could tell you more. When I go I go with Chinese friends and family. Some of our friends run a Tsingtao beer distributorship and have a tent there every year so we do not pay for anything. I just drink what they put in front of me and try not to puke on my shoes. Again.
