I have the invitation letter and application form ready to take to the elusive Chinese embassy. However, I am unsure about the health form. I have read the website, and it seems to be saying it is necessary, but I guess it could mean it is ok to get it done once I get there. My employer never mentioned it until I asked and doesn't thinking it is necessary. However, I would hate to go all the way to the embassy and be rejected. On the other hand I don't want to pay loads and go through the hassle if I am going to have to do it again in China. Ive been trying to contact the embassy all week but....forget it!

I know this requirement varies depending on where you are applying from, so does anyone have any experience of applying at the Irish embassy?

Thanks!
