With the advent of laser hair removal, I am seeing it is harder and harder to find an electrolysis studio where one can have body hair removed PERMANENTLY.

I understand laser removal does not do it. The hair grows back, eventually. Laser is only temporary hair removal.

Anywhere I can go, nearby, in Hong Kong? I'll be in Guangzhou for a year and can take the train for weekend trips.

Electrolysis takes about one year of studio visits to completely remove the hair, as the hair follicle has different growth cycles and the root must be zapped in all cycles to completely kill the root, thus removing the hair, permanently.

there are plenty of places which do this in HK but it's expensive.
just google "electrolysis Hong Kong" or go onto the advice forums in Asia expat HK.

i would have thought this sort of thing would be cheaper and just as good in Guangzhou. Having lived there myself, a lot of this sort of stuff is cheaper up there rather than making the trek down here.
