Alright, so before I take the plunge into bigger greener pastures, I would like to gain some more teaching experience from the ground up... "the hard way" I guess.

Of course I want to get the proper visa, and there are tons of schools in Beijing... I'm just wondering how to go about not-getting-ripped-off.

At least I've narrowed down what I prefer: I'd like to work in the Chaoyang or Dongcheng districts, and preferably, work the minimal amount of hours to obtain a Z visa.

What are the minimal hours I must work anyway?

There are no minimum hourly requirements to obtain a Z visa.

Does the "2 years of teaching experience" required by many universities translate to a specific number of hours worked?
