Some, and you couldn't pick up them up without a valid visa. You could do it on a working holiday visa, if you are from a country that can get one. Not very many though. I don't think it would be worth taking.

Rare instances of universities outside Japan provide short-term "teaching" experience, yes.
Westgate Corporation courses 3- to 4- months long, maybe (depends on their actual schedule at the schools they service).

As Kionon stated, you will need a visa, and unless you qualify for the WHV, you are unlikely to receive it in time, since work visas take 2-8 weeks to be issued. Besides, immigration is not in the habit of issuing visas for such a short time. (Westgate seems to be an exception in that it actually offers sponsorship for such short-term use of the visa. Teachers work for them, then get to keep the visa for the remainder of the 12 months.)

As for not being worth it, I agree. You wouldn't even break even in setup costs in most cases.
