Tomorrow I am completing a demo for Primary 1 students. I am to teach them different positions at a school: teacher, principal, etc.

I'm looking for any advice on what to do. Especially any game ideas would be helpful. This is my first time giving a demo for a job interview. It is to last about 15 minutes.

15 minutes is barely enough time to play a game, so I wouldn't bother. I would use flashcards if you have them, or the whiteboard if not. If you have to play a game, use something simple. If you are using three or more flashcards to demonstrate the vocabulary, show them two, then make them close their eyes, and change one of the cards. Then have them them shout out the one that's been changed. Put a flashcard in each corner of the room, then shout it out and have them run to that corner and shout out the word on the card. You can eliminate the last person to reach the corner to introduce some competition.

Most of all, for a fifteen minute demo, make it big and full of energy, and make them repeat, repeat, repeat. Good luck.

Teach them a basic song if you can find one on the topic, kids like to sing. Remember to smile a lot!

If you cannot speak any Mandarin then make sure that there will be CT in attendance at all of your classes,
There will defo be one at your 'demo' so make sure that you win he / she over as much as the kids.
Fix a permanent grin on your face and brush your teeth.
