Hello all, I've been on the Cafe for about half a year now, looking at postings on the China board. I've also been trying to browse the forums, but for some reason the Search feature has never worked for me. I have been hesitant to post a question about, say, the reliability of DD Dragon English because I'm sure that question has been asked a dozen times and answered just as many. But for whatever reason I can't use the search to find it. I click "Search" up there next to "FAQ" and it takes me to the search page, but when I type in "DD Dragon English", select the China Job board, and click Search, it just goes to a blank page and stops, the URL stuck on http://forums.eslcafe.com/job/search.php?mode=results. I've tried it searching all forums, or different search terms, or switching to Internet Explorer (I use Firefox), or even different network connections, but nothing has worked. Can anyone help me figure out what's wrong?

Dear nedney,

I've noticed it does that, from time to time, lord knows why. But sooner or later, it works again.

Regards,
John

Well now, I can't explain the reason, but when I search for "DD Dragon" (dropping 'English') it actually works. Very odd, but maybe English just overloads it or something. Hope this helps others having issues.

Cheers!

Dear nedney,

I tried just DD Dragon, too, but that didn't work about 10 minutes ago.

Regards,
John

I'm on a real junk computer and it works for me. Are you clicking the "Search for all terms"? If you don't, I think it looks for each individual word and that overloads it.
