				Bonjour à tous.

i've been living in Paris now close to 2 years.

started by taking some french courses

and teaching english/spanish to pay the bills

i was with a company called English4U

and now need to find a new one.

i know to stay away from Wall ST english

but my question is, what are the good English teaching companies in Paris?

what can you expect for pay?

at my previous employer. you are brought in basically to teach at a Saudi School, their biggest contract apparently. most teachers don't survive this

and leave right after.

they pay you 15€ brut per hour for classes outside the office

10€ brut for classes inside the office (which is tiny)

after french taxes........

the most money you will make will be at the saudi school, but for the stress it is not really worth it.

any advice, or other personal experienced share from other teachers in paris would be greatly appreciated.

merci! |

				| Try BTL Formation, they're based on Boulevard Haussman but it's mainly in-company classes. I was there two years and have nothing bad to say about them. |

Don't know about now, I've been away from there for 3 years. Depends on your status, qualifications, hours worked....I was on 1950 euros pcm net for an average of 100 hours pcm, plus ticket restaurants and a contribution to the Navigo. But my contract was with an English agent who rented me out to the school. They also have some auto-entrepreneurs on their books. Best just to give them a call. Remember that Paris is a VERY expensive place to live, especially re accommodation. |
