This may be dated but....A few years ago I was told the ONLY one worth taking was LSC on Eglinton Ave...The only one in town that was a full Celta recognized...Sadly this was after I did another---at CCLCS on Markham St...It was very good--but not a Celta.
Also there were some Tesl cert in a day type places if you just want the paper... |

Thank you for supporting our CELTA programme! It's great to hear that past candidates feel they got a lot out of it.
Illmatic, you may want to check out our Teach Abroad Open House on May 12 from 7-9 pm at LSC at 124 Eglinton Ave. West. (Yonge and Eglinton). There will be overseas recruiters from different regions of the world available to give you information and answer questions. As well, we'll be providing some information about the CELTA. It's free and a great chance to explore employment opportunities. Anyone is welcome to attend. I hope to see you there! |

I did my TESL cert with Oxford Seminars, and not only learned how to teach english, but also how to teach well. I found that within a short time I got enough to feel confident about getting out there. Not to mention that the course was pretty resonably priced.
I just wanted to add that Illmatic is the best album ever released by Nas, and possibly the best in Hip Hop. Although after knocking out Jay-Z I found it hard to accept the title God's Son (what more ego boosting does one need).
anyway I hope your search goes well. |
