Anyone had any experience here?
I tried searching the forum but couldn't find any results. I'm scheduled for an interview tomorrow with this college, just looking for any information of experiences anyone has had with this particular college or the Tianhe area of Guangzhou in general.

What type of visa are you on now?
If you're on a tourist visa, because the school is in Guangdong you'll likely need to return to your home country for the Z visa. |

I'm on a working visa just now which along with my residents permit runs out in the summer. I plan on going home to the UK for a month or so in July so maybe I will get another Z Visa there.
Thanks for the replies. I agree, food & drugs is a winning combination.
I found out that maybe the job was advertised in Tianhe but is in an outskirt called Longdong which doesn't seem to have much information. I don't really know much about Guangzhou but if it's a reasonably short journey to a city center area of shops/restuarants/bars then I'm happy. |

Longdong has other colleges and universities, there are restaurants and shops which should keep you content and it's about 10 minutes to the subway. It's a relatively short trip into central Guangzhou, takes about 30 mins, much closer to central Guangzhou than other university towns. If you want to work at a college or university in Guangzhou, you will be working in one of the outskirt suburbs, Longdong is one of the closer ones. |

Generally my personal experience and what I've heard about provincial vocational colleges, is positive. |
