Has anyone here Lived in Yichang? Know anyone who lives in Yichang?

I am considering accepting a job teaching at a high school there and would love to hear some stories from people who can comment on the area. Things to do inexpensively on day off? Natural beauty? Size of the expat community? Local restaurants worth visiting, etc.

If anyone is currently living there it would be great to have a contact before I go.

I look forward to any and all responses.

Best,
Josh

You should post these types of questions on the China off-topic discussion forum.

Okay, I will do so - I just figured this fit the criteria of "more basic" question. My apologies if it went to the wrong place.

It's because only people with direct experience in China will be interested or have any info. This forum is extremely international and few of us fit your criteria.
