Hi

I'm looking for a short term contract maybe 3 months in China (or anywhere in Asia - if needs be) starting in October. If I'm really lucky with flights or accommodation included.

I've had agencies say this is possible, do you think this is likely?? If not any advice on where I could get my needs met??

FYI I'm a qualified British EFL teacher with 3 years experience - if that makes a difference.

Thanks for your help[/quote]

Full travel reimbursement? Round trip? Unlikely.

Anything's possible in this country but 3 month contracts starting in October are unlikely. Most places are looking for more of a commitment. You could luck into a job where someone has just quit but even then short term contracts aren't the norm. You'd be expected to see the year out.

You have zero chance of securing a contract for 3 months. The only realistic option is to get a 3 to 6 month L or F visa and find some part time work at private language schools.

You will never ever ever in a million years find a 3-month contract that offers flight reimbursement and accommodation. Apartments are rented by the year, and the boss would have to rent a place for a whole year just to put you up for a few months. And it's not worth flying a foreigner in for a few months, paying them a salary and returning their airfare after only putting in a couple months.

If the OP's quals are right, how about something like IST? Wouldn't that work?
